ACCEPTANCE OF LOW BIDS FOR THE PARKS AND
RECREATION DEPARTMENT
e WHEREAS, the 1979 Parks and Recreation budget provides for the purchase of a new all-purpose vehicle, and

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board authorized the adver-
tising of bids for said vehicle including four-wheel drive, and
WHEREAS, they further authorized the advertising for sale of a used 1967 Jeep vehicle presently owned by the City, and
WHEREAS, the following bids have been received:
1979 Vehicle - Metro GMC $8,923.35
Buran AMC 8,780.00
Holz Motors, Inc. 8,422.42
Doering Motor Co. 7,993.99
Hiller Ford 7,822.66
1967 Jeep Vehicle - Jerry Lambert $ 650.00
Thomas Laimon 503.00

Brad Bailey 478.00

Bruce Hagenmiller 300.00
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board refused all bids re-
ceived for the 1979 vehicle because they did not meet the
requirements of the Parks and Recreation Department, and
WHEREAS they did authorize the Parks and Recreation Director;
to consider the offer of Buran AMC for a CJ7 Jeep in the amount
of $8,181.00, and
WHEREAS the Parks and Recreation Board detemined that it was in
the best interest of the City of Muskego to purchase a CJ-7 Jeep
from Buran AMC in the amount of $8,181.00.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Board
and the Finance Committee, does hereby authorize the Parks and
Recreation Department to purchase a 1979 CJ-7 Jeep from Buran
AMC in the amount of $8,181.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon recornendation of the Parks and Recreation Board and
Lambert in the amount of $650.00 for the 1967 used Jeep Vehicle
the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the bid from Jerry
