RESOLUTION #61-79 (As Amended)
ACCEPTANCE OF LOW BID FOR NEW HIGHWAY TRUCK
WHEEEAS, the 1979 Public !darks Capital Budget provides for
the purchase of a new highway truck equipped with a snowplow
and material spreader, and
WHEREAS, bids for said equipment have been advertised for,
and
WHEREAS, the following bids have been received:
International Harvester Co.
Badger Ford Truck Sales, Inc
White Truck
$30,350 00
30,248.50
34,706 70
and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended that the
bid of Badger Ford Truck Sale, Inc in the amount of $30,248.50
be accepted,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby accept the bid of Badger Ford Truck
Sales, Inc. for a new 1979 Model highway truck equipped with
snowplow and material spreader, in the amount of $30,248.50.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized to execute the necessary documents in the name
of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event the Muskego-Norway
School District wishes to purchase the truck being replaced
at the cost of the allowance provided by Badger Ford Truck
Sales, Inc through an agreement, Supt. of Public Works
Bertram is authorized to approve such an arrangement.
