APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF LANDS NECESSA.RY IN
RECONSTRUCTION OF MARTIN DRIVE
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11200-77, dated August 23, 1977, the
Common Council of the City of Muskego declared its intent
to participate with the State Department of Transportation
in the reconstruction of a portion of Martin Drive, and
WHEREAS, Resolution j1233-78 adopted by the Common Council,
authorized the Mayor and City Attorney to negotiate with the
landowners involved in order that the necessary lands needed
can be acquired, and
WHEREAS, an appraisal of the Ralph Martin property indicated
a value of $5,600.00 and of the Arthur Albers property $950.00,
and
3 WHEREAS, both landowners have agreed to settle for the above amounts,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby agree to pay $5,600.00 to Mr. Ralph
Martin and $950.00 to Mr Arthur Albers for lands needed as
part of the reconstruction project of Martin Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is authorized
to prepare the necessary documents and the Mayor and Clerk are
authorized to execute said documents in the name of the city.
