ESTABLISHING THE CITY'S INTENT TO COOPERATE
WITH LITTLE MUSKEG0 LAKE PROTECTION AND
REHABILITATION DISTRICT TO ACQUIRE LANDS
NECESSARY FOR DREDGING DISPOSAL SITES
WHEREAS, the Little Muskego Protection and Rehabilitation
District, through its consulting engineers, is developing
plans for the partial dredging of Little Muskego Lake, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire several parcels of land
upon which the dredged material will be placed, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources has approved
several parcels of land which can be used for that purpose,
and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary for either the city or the Little
Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District to acquire
rights to the disposal sites chosen either by lease, purchase
or dedication, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes to
assure the property owners within the district of their willing
ness to cooperate with the district in acquiring the necessary
parcels of land,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby declare its intent to cooperate with
the Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District
needed for the dredging of Little Muskego Lake can be acquired.
