ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER TO PURCHASE PARCEL OF
CITY-OWED LAND

WHEREAS, on November 27, 1978, the City of Muskego received
from Mr. Donald Schroeder an Offer to Purchase a parcel
of land owned by the city- located at the comer of Mercury
Drive and S .T H. 24, and
WHEREAS, the Offer to Purchase was for $12,570.00 and
included a check in the amount of $100.00 as earnest money,
and
WHEREAS, the Offer to Purchase included the following
conditions:
1. Allow buyer to hook into municipal sewer mains
2. Certification by Seller that present zoning, public
- at his own expense
utility easements and building restrictions don’t
prohibit intended use
3. Certification by Seller that on or before closing
improvements which may result in special assessments there will be no special assessments or no planned
and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee noted that although the land
involved totals approximately 3.58 acres, however, because
of its configuration use of the land for building purposes
is limited to one acre, and
WHEREAS, it is rhe opinion of the Finance Committee that it
would be in the best interest of the city to sell the property
to Mr. Schroeder in order that he may expand his present
business (House of Tile)
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
does hereby accept the Offer to Purchase a parcel of land
adjacent to S.T.H 24 totalling approximately 3.58 acres Of
land in the amount of $12.570.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this offer and acceptance are subject
to review and approval of the City Plan Commission and City Attorne
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are. authorized
to execute the necessary docmCnt in the name of the city.
