REQUESTING TRAFFIC STUDY OF S.T.H. 24 BY
KISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

WHEREAS, increased residential activity has put an additional
strain on the ability of Highway 24 to handle traffic, and
WHEREAS, the intersections of Highway 24 and Tess Corners
Drive and Highway 24 and Lannon Drive are sufficiently
busy to necessitate some form of traffic control, and
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Committee has recommended that
the Wisconsin Department of Transportation do an indepth
study of S.T.H. 24 to determine its capabilities of serving
the residents of the City of Muskego and beyond,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby urge the Wisconsin Department of
Transportation to conduct an indepth study of S.T.H. 24
which would include, among other things, speed limits,
need for traffic controls, the need for additional passing
lanes and the need for major r onstruction. F?
