DETERMINING PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR
CERTAIN YEARS UNCOLLECTABLE
WHEREAS, personal property taxes in the amount of $1,495.82
have been determined by the City Treasurer to be uncollectable
for the years 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974 because of reasons
such as being deceased, bankruptcy and moved with no forwarding
address, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has made every effort to collect
said funds, and
WHEREAS, the city's auditors have recommended that persocal
be declared uncollectable,
property taxes in the amount of $1,495.82 for the above years
e THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the City Attorney, the
city's auditors at"d the Finance Committee, does hereby declare
certain personal property taxes for the years1971, 1972, 1973
and 1974 to be nncollectable, total amount being $1,495.82
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer is authorized
to remove them from her
