AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF AN APPRAISER
FOR LAND PURCHASE
(Re Martin Drive)
WHEREAS, in December 1976, the Common Council adopted a
resolution authorizing the city's engineers to prepare
the needed design for the reconstruction of a portion
of Martin Drive in the area of the former nike site, and
WHEREAS, said project is in cooperation with the State
of Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the Waukesha
County Highway Commission and is eligible for federal aids
under the Safer Off-System Program, and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the project have now
been 'completed, and .
WHEREAS, it is necessary that an appraisal be made to
order that the project can be initiated,
determine the value of property which needs to be taken in
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize the Mayor to have
an appraisal done to determine the value of lands which
will be taken for the Martin Drive Reconstruction Project.
