AUTHORIZING THE PARK & RECREATION DEPARTMENT
TO PURCHASE A NEW TRUCK
WHEREAS, the 1978 Capital Budget for the Parks and Recreation Department
provides for the purchase of a 1978 truck, and
WHEREAS, the only response to a request for bids for that 1978 truck was
from Metro-GMC Trucks which was for a 1979 truck, and
WHEREAS, sufficient monies were not available to purchase the 1979 truck
which resulted in the Parks and Recreation Board rejecting the bid and
authorizing the Parks and Recreation Director to try to locate a 1978
truck which would be close to the specifications needed, and
WHEREAS, a 1978, 314 ton, 4 x 4 pick-up truck was negotiated for the
Gordon Page Chevrolet in the amount of $7,020.00, and
WHEREAS, monies have been provided for the purchase of the truck, and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVLED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego
does hereby authorize the Parks and Recreation Department to purchase a
price of $7,020.00.
