AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF RECORDER FOR
MUNICIPAL COURT

WHEREAS, Municipal Justice Wittbrot has requested that
the city purchase a recorder for the Municipal Court,
and
WHEREAS, Ch. 300.13 Wisconsin Statutes provides that
effective July 1, 1978 every proceedings during which
be recorded by electronic means for purposes of appeal,
testimony is taken under oath in a Municipal Court shall
and
WHEREAS, Judge Wittbrot has received a quote from Photoart
in the amount of $343.58 for a Wollensak Recorder, a
microphone stand, headphones and 4 reels, with tape, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
Common Council authorize the requested purchase and that
charged to Miscellaneous, Account #602.0450,
the monies be transferred from the Contingency Fund and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the transfer of $350.00
from the Contingency Fund to Account #602.0450, Miscellaneous,
Court.
