RESOLUTION #90-78
HONORING blUSKEGO'S AFS STUDENT - LEILA ANTUNEZ
WHEREAS, for the past ten years many local citizens have
given generously of their time and efforts to maintain
the American Field Service Program in Muskego, and
WHEREAS, it is the aim of the AFS Program to promote
understanding, friendship and knowledge between the
people of the world by arranging an interchange of students
between the United States and other countries, and
WHEREAS, for the past year Muskego has been privileged
to have as their AFS student, Leila Antunez, from the
Country of Brazil, and
WHEREAS, Lei1a)has exemplified the purpose of the AFS
Program during her visit in Muskego,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby honor Miss Leila Antunez as
Muskego's tenth AFS student and extends to her an invitation
to return to our city some day in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall
be sent to President Ernest0 Geisel of the Country of
Brazil.
