SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATE REGARDING OIP ZONING
FOR AMERICAN COLLEGE
WHEREAS, on the-1st day of April, 1970, the Common Council
adopted Ordinance #166 which rezoned certain properties
from RS2 to RS2 OIP, and
WHEREAS, the request for the rezoning filed by Dr. Gordon
Drake of the American College stated that the rezoning
was needed in order that a four-year liberal arts college
could be built, and
WHEREAS, the American College~Building group .has purchased
the.property and constructed the buildings and wishes to
change the intended use from a four-year liberal arts college:
to a day care center and other non-college oriented -programs,-
and '
WHEREAS, upon the advice of the City Attorney the Plan Commission
matter back to the Council and the Sewer Committee with the
has denied the request for a change in use and has referred the
recommendation that a new public hearing be held,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, in order to~determine whether the proposed- change
in the use of the property is in the best interest of the city,
does hereby set a public hearing on the 13th day of June, 1976, at 7:15 P.M. to consider the matter.
