AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISING OF BIDS FOR NEEDED
ROAD MATERIALS FOR THE 1978 ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
,
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Muskego to begin its
preparation for the street improvement program for 1978,
and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended that the
City advertise for bids to provide for the necessary bituminous
concrete and asphalt and the various liquid asphalts as well
within the city,
as permission to advertise for bids to repave certain streets
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Works
Committee, does hereby authorize the advertising of bids for
asphalt and bituminous concrete for the 1978 road improvement
program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Committee will
report to the Common Council the results of the bidding along
with their recommendation.
