AFFIRMING AGREEMENT BETWEEN SANITARY DISTRICT
NO. I OF THE TOWN OF NORWAY AND THE CITY OF MUSKEG0
WHEREAS, by Resolution #27-78, the Mayor and City Clerk
were authorized to execute an Agreement between the parties
establishing the conditions under which the Lake Denoon area would
use the Town of Norway Sewer District sewer facilities; and,
WHEREAS, a final Agreement has been tendered to the City
and approved by the City Attorney; and,
WHEREAS, said Agreement provides in part that the City
shall pay to the District the sum of $432,819.06, plus interest
thereon from January I, 1978 to date of payment at 5y0, such payment
to be made within one year from date of the Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council that
the City does affirm said payment to be made to the District and
does direct the Finance Committee to make the appropriate investigation
and within the time designated to recommend appropriate method of
financing for said payment.
