ADVISING WAUKESHA COUNTY HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MUSKEGO'S WILLINGNESS TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS & DECELERATION LANES
ON RACINE AVENUE IN VICINTY OF CITY HALL
WHEREAS, the Waukesha County Highway Commission has indicated
a willingness to participate with the City of Muskego in the
construction of deceleration lanes on Racine Avenue in the
vicinitly of city hall, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee feels that such a project
would n'ot only enhance the area but provide safer access to
the city hall by the citizens of the city, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost would be
approximately $5.00 per foot, and
of Muskego indicate its willingness to consider joining
WHEREAS' it is necessary that the Common Council of the City
Waukesha County in such a project in order that the plans
and specifications can be developed,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby indicate its willingness to join
with the Waukesha County Highway Commission in constructing
deceleration lanes on Racine Avenue in the vicinity of city
hall.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that prior to commencing construction
final approval by the Common Council must be given.
