RESOLUTION #27-78 (As Amended)
APPROVAL OF PROPOSED AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF
, MUSKEGO AND TOWN OF NORWAY SEWER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Ithe City of Muskego has been discussing over the
past year~s the possibility of the Town of Norway Sewer
District serving an area around and adjacent to Lake Denoon,
and
H'HEREAS, :plans and specifications for the Denoon project
have been finalized and the necessary assessments made, and
WHEREAS,. '.it is .necessary that an agreement between- the .City :
of Muskego -and-the'Town ..of Norway Sew'er .District:-be~-executed:-
which agreement .would .establish ..the condi.tioris .under-.which
the' Lake".Denoon area xould'use the-Town of Ndrway Sewer ..
District"S facilities, and
WHEREAS, execution-of.-a final agreement- is dependent upon
further negotiations, and
WHEREAS, 'time is of the essence since contracts for the
Lake Denoon projects have not been let, and-
WHEREAS,- the-:att.ached- agreemeut-,_ although not totally
acceptable to tfie city, has been reviewed-by the citg-
attorney and the city's consulting engineers and they have
recommended that if several changes~-can be negotiated the
agreement should be. approved,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk-
Comptroller to execute the attached agreement subject to
the revision of,several conditions to make them more
acceptable to the citv.
