DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO DRAFT THE
IMPLEMENTING ORDINANCE FOR AN AMENDMENT
THE CITY'S LAND DIVSION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, Section 3.8 of the Land Division Ordinance requires
a certified survey map be submitted when it is proposed to
divide land into not more than four (4) parcels, any one of
which is five (5) acres or less in size, and
WHEREAS, the present ordinance does not require certified
survey maps for divisions of more than five (5) acres to be
submitted for review, and
WHEREAS, Section 3.9 of the Land Division Ordinance does not
require approval of the Cmon Council for certified survey maps,
and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the
City Plan Cmission the Cmon Council of the City of Muskego
does hereby direct the City Attorney to draft the implementing
ordinance to amend Sections 3.8 and 3.9 of the Land Division
Ordinance to require that all divisions of land be submitted
to the Plan Cmission for review and all certified survey maps
be approved by both the Plan Cmission and the Cmon Council.
