ACCEPTANCE OF LOW BID FOR PARK SITE DEVELOPMENT
(Jensen & Schmidt Parks)
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Board has received bids for
improvements of Schmidt Park and Jensen Park, and
WHEREAS, the following bids have been received:
BASE BID "B" - JENSEN PARK
Lang Engineering $18,116.97
Burbach Construction 23,000.00
BASE BID "C" - SCHMIDT PARK
Lang Engineering $15,421.90
Payne & Dolan 20,695.00
Burbach Construction 22,120.00
and,
WHEREAS, monies have been provided for this project in the
Park and Recreation 1977 capital budget, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Board has recommended that the
low bid of Lang Engineering in the amount of $18,116.97 for the
improvements in Jensen Park and the low bid of Lang Engineering
in the amount of $15,421.90 for the improvements in Schmidt Park
be accepted,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Park and Recreation
Board, does hereby accept the low bid of Lang Engineering in the
amount of $18,116.97 for the improvements in Jensen Park and the
low bid of Lang Engineering in the amount of $15,421.90 for the
improvements in Schmidt Park, total amount being $33,538.87.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk and Mayor are authorized
to execute the necessary documents in the name of the city.
