LIFTING OF BUILDING MORATORIUM UNTIL
JANUARY 1. 1978
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of October, 1975, the Common Council
of the City of Muskego adopted Resolution $235-77, Declaring a
Moratorium on Major Developments in the Northeast and Northwest
Sewer Districts, and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the moratorium was to give the Public
Sewer Committee of the Common Council time to review quality of
treatment and available capacity of the city‘s two sewer
treatment plants, and
WHEREAS, the Sewer Committee has determined that sufficient capacity
is available to permit additional development but wishes to further
review the matter in July of 1978, and
WHEREAS, the Sewer Committee has recommended that the moratorium
be lifted for the balance of the year 1977 to allow construction
of Marlan Meadows and Guernsey Meadows Addition #1,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Sewer Committee,
does hereby lift the moratorium previous established in Resolution
Meadows Subdivision and Guernsey Meadows Addition #1.
