RESOLUTION #195-77
AUTHORIZING A CHANGE IN THE CARPET CONTRACTOR
FOR THE NEW POLICE BUILDING
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of February, 1977, the Common
Council approved a bid for R. L. Kirkpatrick for the
installation of carpeting in the new Muskego Police
Station in the amount of $3,100.00 which was supposed to in-
clude malternate bid for additional work, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kirkpatrick has indicated that his bid did
not include an alternate and therefore he would have to
$4,181.00, and
increase his bid by $1,081.00 thus making a total of
WHEREAS, Artisan Carpeting had been the second low bidder
with a bid in the amount of $3,350.00 and a bid of $580.00
for the alternate, and
WHEREAS, the city's architects have recommended that
Artisan Carpets be awarded the contract,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of
the City of Muskego does hereby award the contract for
providing carpeting for the Muskego Police Statiorl eo
Artisan Carpets whose total bid would amount to $3,930.00.
