RESOLUTION #166-77
AUTHORIZING REPUND FOR 4 PORTION OF
EARNEST MONEY FOR INDUSTRIAL PARK LOT

WHEREAS, the city had received an Offer to Purchase for
Lot 6 Block 1 in the Muskego Industrial Park from Bennie
Lane with the payment of $1,000.00 in earnest money,
and
WHEREAS, the city has been advised that Mr. Lane does
not wish to consummate the purchase and the city's
broker has recommended that at least a portion of the
earnest money be retained to cover expenses of his
company and the city, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended $500.00
be retained to cover such expenses,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of
the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the
Finance Committee, does hereby acknowledge Mr. Lane's
decision not to purchase Lot 6, Block 1 in Muskego
Industrial Park and that the city retain $500.00 of the
earnest money to cover its costs as well as those costs
of the city's broker.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that $250.00 of the retained
money shall be paid to E. hl. Boerke Company for costs
involved in the transaction.
