REVERSING THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE DECISION
NOT TO RECONSTRUCT A DRAINAGE DITCH IN
PARKLAND PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee, at its meeting held
June 9, 1977, received a request from Mr. Neil Borgman
to relocate a drainage ditch which presently traverses
through a portion of his property, and
WHEREAS, after careful consideration it was the decision
of the committee to deny the request, and
WHEREAS, that denial was based on estimated costs, erosion
problems and the fact that the drainage ditch was approved
as part of the drainage plan for the Parkland Planned Unit
Development, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Neil Borgman has asked that that decision be
overturned by the Common Council,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
Public Works Committee regarding this matter and does
City of Muskego does hereby reverse the decision of the
hereby direct the Public Works Department to relocate the
drainage ditch a portion of which is presently located
on Lot #1, Parkland Subdivision, so that it is removed
entirely from his property.
