DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO DRAFT AN ORDINANCE
REQUIRING INSTALLATION OF WATER METERS
WHEN SERVED BY COMMUNITY WELLS
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has established a policy whereby any
large subdivisions are required to install a community well
system which in the future could be turned over to the city,
and
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of all concerned if
the city required the installation of meters in accordance with
city standards whenever a resident is served by a community well,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby direct the City Attorney to draft an
amendment to the Plumbing Code providing that meters shall be
required in all residences served by a community well.
