AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER, IN COOPERATION
WITH THE CITIES OF NEW BERLIN, FRANKLIN AND 1
AND OAK CREEK, TO INVESTIGATE THE COST OF AN
ENGINEERING STUDY TO DETERMINE THE FEASIBILITY
OF EXTENDING WATER MAINS FROM OAK CREEK TO
SEVERAL COMMUNITIES
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the City of
Muskego to determine the feasibility of acquiring water
Oak Creek, and
for its citizens in the distant future from the City of
WHEREAS, the cities of New Berlin, Franklin and Oak Creek
have indicated an interest in determining the cost of an
engineering study relative to obtaining water from the City
of Oak Creek and have invited the City of Muskego to
participate in that study,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby indicate its interest in the
possibility of obtaining water from Oak Creek in the future
and its willingness to participate in an investigation to
determine the cost of an engineering study to determine the
feasibility of such a plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the final determination of
participation In the study will be made by the Common Council
after the costs have been determined.
