HONORING MUSKEGO'S AFS STUDENT - - - AGUILA PINEDA
WHEREAS, for the past nine years many local citizens have given
generously of their time and efforts to maintain the American Field
Service Program in Muskego, and
WHEREAS, it is the aim of the AFS Program to promote understanding,
friendship and knowledge between the people of the world by arrang-
ing an interchange of students between the United States and other
countries, and
WHEREAS, for the past year Muskego has been privileged to have as
their AFS student Aguila Pineda from the country of Spain, and
WHEREAS, Aguila has exemplified the purpose of the AFS Program
during her visit in Muskego, .
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City.of
Muskego does hereby honor Miss Aguila Pineda as Muskego's ninth:-.
AFS student and extends to her an invitation to return to,our City
some day in the future.
