AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF NEW POLICE OFFICER
AT STEP I1 OF THE SALARY RANGE
WHEREAS, a vacant position of patrolman presently exists
in the Police Department, and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has requested that in order
to save the time as well as money which is involved in
the training of a new police officer that the Common
Council authorize him to hire an experienced officer at
the second step of the salary range, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Commottee has recommended that his
request be approved,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the Chief of Police to
fill existing vacant position of patrolman at Step 11
of the salary range which is $13,313.00.
