WHEREAS, on the 24th day of June, 1975, the Common Council
adopted Ordinance $305 relating to the use of holding tanks
in the City of hluskego, and
WHEREAS, since the adoption of that ordinance the \V~~ulcesha
County Health Department and the City of Muskego \Vt!l.Eare Com-
mittee have become increasingly concerned over the p1~01.ifer-
ation of holding tanks in the city particularly in new
construction, and
WHEREAS, the Welfare Committee has recommended tha~t the
Common Council amend Ordinance #305 to prohibit the use
of holding tanks for new construction in those areas not
served by Public Sewers,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council 01 the
City of Aluskego, upon the recommendation o:f the Pub1i.c
Welfare Committee, does hereby direct the City Attorney
to draft the necessary amendment to Ordinance #305 which
would prohibit the use of holding tanks for new construction
in the city in non-sewered areas.
