CCR1977019RESOLUTION #19-77
AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT FOR JAMES VERBURGT
WHEREAS, on January 9, 1977, the Muskego Police Department
commandeered a snowmobile owned by Mr. James Verburgt of
Kurtze Lane, and
WHEREAS, the snowmobile as well as the suit owned by
Mr. James Verburgt sustained damages amounting to approx-
imately $100.00.
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has requested that Mr. Verburgt
be reimbursed for the damages, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the Common
Council approve reimbursement of an amount not to exceed
$100.00,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby authorize the Clerk-Comptroller to pay
to Mr. James Verburgt the sum of $100.00, the cost of damages
to his snowmobile and snowmobile suit while being used for
police purposes.
