AUTHORIZING REFUND FOR ERRONEOUS ASSESSrnNT

WHEREAS, the City Assessor has advised the City Clerk that
an error has been made in the 1976 assessment of the Gary
Kloth property, Tax Key # 2167.037, and
WHEREAS, in order for Mr. and Mrs. Kloth to pay their real
estate taxes by December 31, 1976, the correction in the
assessment as well as an adjustment in the tax roll must be
made, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
necessary corrections be made and that the sum of $210.40
be paid into the 1976 tax account (to the City Treasurer)
to cover the amount lost to the tax roll,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby authorize the payment of $210.40 to the City
Treasurer to cover the loss to the 1976 tax roll as a result
of an error in assessments on the Gary Kloth property, Tax
Key j12167.037.
