AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISING OF BIDS FOR
THE NEW POLICE BUILDING
WHEREAS, the recently held referendum authorized the City
of Muskego to borrow up to $400,000.00 forthe new police
building, and
WHEREAS, circumstances are such that it would be in the
best interest of the city to advertise for bids in order
that an exact cost can be determined, and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that funds for the police
complex would be available in February, 1977, and if
construction is to begin this late winter the bidding
procedure should begin as quickly as possible,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize the architectural
firm of Rugg-Knapp-Lambert to advertise for bids for
the construction of the City of Muskego’s new police
complex.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the results of the bidding
will be reviewed by the Building Committee in order that
a recommendation can be made to the Common Council.
