CCR1976186DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO DRAFT AN ORDINANCE
PROVIDING FOR SEWER CONNECTION CHARGE FOR
ALL NEW BUILDINGS IN THE CITY
WHEREAS, the Sewer Committee has been reviewing the analysis
of the financial status of the city's sewer utility prepared
by Ehlers and Associates, and
WHEREAS, that analysis indicates that projected income is
not sufficient to meet the needs of the utility particularly
in the area of providing funds for depreciation and repayment
to the city of monies advanced to the utility, and
WHEREAS, the Sewer Committee has recommended that the City
Attorney draft an ordinance which will provide for a sewer
connection charge for all new buildings constructed in the
City of Muskego,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Sewer Committee,
does hereby authorize the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance
which will provide that all new residential, commercial and
business construction will require a sewer connection charge.
