AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH
ENGINEERING FIRM OF RLTEKERT AND MIELKE FOR ENGINEERING
SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF MUSKEG0
WHEREAS, the Common Council had previous adopted Resolution
8243-75 authorizing its Engineering Finn of Ruekert & Mielke
to apply for a federal grant for the purpose of conducting
an inflow infiltration analysis and also to prepare preliminary
studies for the major interceptor which will serve the northeast
and northwest sewer district, and
WHEREAS, one of the requirements prior to approval of said
grant is the execution of an agreement between the City of
Muskego and its consulting engineers?. and
WHEREAS, the Public Sewer Committee and the Finance Committee
has recommended that the agreement be approved,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Sewer
Committee and the Finance Committee, does hereby approve of
the proposed agreement between the City of Muskego and the
Engineering Finn of Ruekert & Mielke covering engineering work
pertaining to the proposed construction of an interceptor
sewer from the existing Northeast and Northwest wastewater
treatment facilities to the Milwaukee County line, for
connection to the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District’s
irjterceptor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to execute the agreement after approval by the City Attorney.
