CCR1976175RESOLUTION #175-76 EXTENDING RETIREMENT DATE OF POLICE CHIEF ERVIN W. KRAUS WHEREAS, the State of Wisconsin requires that all personnel in protective occupations (Police Department) retire at age 55 unless specifically exempt by the municipality, and WHEREAS, the Chief of Police in the City of Muskego has advised the Finance Committee that he will reach the age of 55 on December 1, 1976, and has requested that he be permitted to continue his employment with the City of Muskego for an additional two years, and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee is of the opinion that it would be in the best interest of the City of Muskego to extend the date of retirement of Police Chief Kraus to December 1, 1978, and does hereby recommend to the Common Council that they take the necessary action to make this possible. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego does hereby extend the required date of retirement for Police Chief Kraus to December 1, 1978. DATED THIS 14* DAY OF , 1976.
