DIRECTING CITY ENGINEERS TO BEGIN
DESIGN OF THE BASS BAY SEWER PROJECT

WHEREAS, the Sewer Committee of the City of Muskego has been
considering the need for municipal sewer in the Bass Bay area,
and
WHEREAS, the majority of the residents have indicated that
they would favor such a proposal, and
WHEREAS, the city engineers have advised the committee that
the northwest treatment facility could handle the additional
sewage without adversely affecting the quality of treatment, and
WHEREAS,the Sewer Committee has recommended that the Common
Council authorize its engineers to design the sewers for the Bass
Bay area with the understanding that the intention would be to
serve existing residences and not to open large tracts of lands
for development.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize its consulting engineers,
Ruekert and Mielke, to prepare the plans and specifications
needed in order that the Bass Bay area could be served by
municipal sewers.
