AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM
(Joseph Vesbach)
WHEREAS, the City of Muslcego has been involved in a claim
filed against it by Mr. Joseph Vesbach in the amount of
$752.00 plus the cost of attorney fees for alleged damage
to his soybean crop, and
WHEREAS, the city attorney has advised that the plaintive
is willing to settle the claim for $400.00 and has
recommended that settlement be authorized, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
above settlement be made,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby accept the offer of settlement
in the name of the city and that the Mayor and Clerk are
authorized to execute the necessar-y agreement.
