EXTENDING CONGRATULATIONS TO BICENTENNIAL
ART CONTEST WINNER
WHEREAS, as part of the city's bicentennial celebration
the Muskego Public Library sponsored a Bicentennial
Art Contest, and
WHEREAS, the them of the contest was "Muskego Past or
Present - 1776 - 1976'' was selected in order that a
visual history of Muskego could be available to present
and future generations, and
WHEREAS, the "Best of Show'' winner was declared to be
Miss Rita Miller for her painting entitled, "Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Haas", and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Muskego wishes
to thank all of the artists who participated in the
contest and more specifically to acknowledge the work
of Miss Rita Miller,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, on behalf of all the citizens of the
City of Muskego, does tiereby congratulate Miss Rita Miller
as the "Best of Show" winner for her painting entitled,
"Mr. and Mrs. Frank Haas."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall
be presented to Miss Miller and to the President of the
Muskego Public Library Board. fl
