DENIAL OF REQUEST TO EXTEND SEWERS ON WENTLAND DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego acknowledges a request that
sewer mains be extended west on Wentland Drive to Hillendale
Drive, and
WHEREAS, the city's consulting engineers report that the
estimated costs for extending these mains would be
approximately $28,848.00 with $22,890.00 being assessable,
and
WHEREAS, the committee was further advised that due to the
topography of the lands on the south side of Wentland Drive
a 30' easement would be required in order to provide adequate
drainage, and
WHEREAS, those lots located on the south side of Wentland
Drive would have a 10% to 14% grade and would appear
unbuildable unless special consideration were given to the
architecture of each home, and
WHEREAS, further consideration was given to the fact that
contrary to Resolution 8235-75 adopted by the Common Council
on October 25, 1975, and

, the above installation would open up new lands which is
WHEREAS, the Public Sewer Committee has recommended that the
request to extend sewers west on Wentland Drive.be denied,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Sewer
Committee, does hereby deny the request to extend municipal
sewers west on Wentland Drive to Hillendale Drive.
