AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF $500.00 FOR MUSKEGO
HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR TO APPEAR IN WASHINGTON D.C.
WHEREAS, the Muskego High School Choir has been invited to
attend a bicentennial program in our nation's capitol in
June of 1976, and
WHEREAS, members of the choir with the help of the Muskego
High School Choir Booster Club have raised most of the
needed $12,000.00 required to make the trip, and
WHEREAS, the Muskego High School Booster Club has requested
some financial aid from the city, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
sum of $500.00 be provided for this purpose,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby agree to contribute $500.00 towards
the cost of sending the Muskego High School Choir to
Washington, D. C. for the bicentennial presentation to
be held in June, 1976.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk is authorized to
transfer $500.00 from Acct. #602.049, Contingency, to
Acct. il602.045, Miscellaneous.
