AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF GRIEVANCE FROM MUSKEGO
PROFESSIONAL POLICEMAN'S ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego has received a grievance from the
Muskego Professional Policeman's Association claiming compensation
due as a result of a requirement that each officer be present
15 minutes before the beginning of his shift, and
WHEREAS, prior to this matter going to arbitration the Finance
Committee negotiated a settlement for partial payment of the
compensation involved by providing for compensatory time, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recmended the Council approve
of the agreement between the Muskego Professional Policeman's
Association and the city regarding the matter,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby approve of the settlement,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Ma or be authorized to execute
the document in the name of the/cl;'ty. /Y
