DESIGNATING WEEK OF JANUARY 11, 1976, AS
MUSKEGO HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR WEEK a
WHEREAS, the Muskego High School Concert Choir has been invited
to participate in our country's bicentennial celebration, and
WHEREAS, such participation includes performing on the White
June 16th to 19th, 1976, and
WHEREAS, the Choir will need to raise $12,000.00 to offset the cost
of travel, housing, etc. , and
WHEREAS, it is an honor for the City of Muskego to be represented
in this bicentennial celebration by our outstanding high school
choir and it would be incumbant upon its residents to help offset the
cost of the trip, and

WHEREAS, it is fitting an.d proper that the Common Council des
e ' a week during which the community can express its support,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
Muskego does hereby designate the week of January llth, 1976,
"MUSKEGO HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR WEEK" a

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council does hereby urge
the citizens of the community to support the several fund raising
activities being held to provide monies which will enable the
choir to represent Muskego in this special bicentennial program.
