AUTHORIZING APPRAISAL OF LAMB NURSERY PROPERTY
(Vicinity of Gold Dr. & College Ave.)
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended that the
Common Council consider purchasing the Francis R. Lamb Nursery
property located in the vicinity of Gold Drive and College
Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the property has a great number of trees and bushes
which could be used by the Park and Recreation Department
and the Public Works Department, and
WHEREAS, an .appraisal is necessary to aid in negotiations
with the owner, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recmended that the
Common Council authorize an appraisal of the property,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cmon Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Works Committee,
does hereby authorize that:-cofmnittee to have an appraisal of
the property known as a part of the Lamb Nursery located
in the vicinity of Gold Drive and College Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Committee will
report its finding and recommendations back to the Connnon
Council before beginning any negotiations.
