ACCEPTANCE OF LOW BID FOR SEWER INSTALLATION iN
LEMEZEDER DRIVE

WHEREAS, the following bids for sanitary sewer installation on Lembezeder

WHEREAS, alternate "A" was work to be done as originally proposed and
for which a public hearing was held and alternate "B" included lowering
of the sewer on Lembezeder Drive a sufficient amount to serve residences
on Hillendale Drive, north and south of Lembezeder Drive, and
WHEREAS, the city's consulting engineer has indicated that to install
Hillendale Drive would cost an additional four to five thousand dollars,
sanitary sewer on Lembezeder Drive at a depth sufficient to serve,
and
WHEREAS, any ipcrease in the estimated assessment costs would require
another public hearing unless additional monies were paid for by the
utility district, and
WHEREAS, if the sewers on Lembezeder Drive are not lowered the possi.bi1-
ities of providing sewers to Hillendale within the next five years is
somewhat remote, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has sent the matter to the Common
Council without recommendation as the Sewer Committee had met prior
to the opening of the bids and were therefore not able to make a re-
commendation,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego
does hereby accept the low bid of Tomasini Contractors to install sewers
on Lembezeder Drive,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego
does hereby direct the city engineers to amend the project by lowering
the sewer to a sufficient depth in order that several residenbs livi.rJg
north and south of Lembezeder Drive on Hillendale Drive have Sewers avaidble to them in the event they desire it.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayoc,.and Clerk are authorized to execute
the necessary documents in the name of the city.
