AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PUBLIC WORKS TRUCK
WHEREAS, in November, 1974, the Public Works Committee was
advised that a new highway truck would be needed, however
delivery could not be made until 1976, and
WHEREAS, Supt. Bertram advised the committee that he could
not get either Ford or International Harvester to bid on
he wanted to spend and he could get a truck for a lesser
the truck but a quotation from Badger Ford was higher than
amount from Intern‘at’ional Harvester, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee authorized Mr. Bertram
to order a truck for delivery in 1976, and
WHEREAS, since delivery was not anticipated until 1976
funds were not provided for it in the 1975 capital budget
program, and
WHEREAS, the city has been advised that the truck has been

WHEREAS., there are funds available in the capital budget for
the Public Works Department from unexpended funds, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended that the
truck with radio and airshift hydraulic control in the amount
of $27,985.00 be accepted this year and the needed funds be
taken from unused monies in their capital budget,
THEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
Works Committee to purchase a highway truck with radio and air-
of Muskego does hereby approve of the request of the Public
shift hydraulic controls in the amount of $27,985.0Q funds to
be taken from the unused monies in their 1975 capital budgei
program.
