URGING INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL LIGHTS
ON S. T. H. 24
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Committee is of the opinion that
the amount of traffic,. being generated on S.T.H. 24 warrants the installation of traffic lights at the intersection of
and Racine Avenue and Highway 24, and a Tess Corners Drive and Highway 24, Lannon Drive and Highway 24
WHEREAS, the Safety Committee is also of the opinion that
unless traffic control lights are installed the potential
for an increasing number of accidents exists,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, ppon the recommendation of the Public Sdfety
Comission and the State Department of Transporation to
Connnittee, does hereby urge the Waukesha County Highway
take whatever action is necessary to have traffic control
lights installed at the following locations:
Tess Corners Drive - S.T.H. 24
Lannon Drive - S.T.H. 24
Racine Avenue - S.T.H. 24
BE IT FIJRlHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
be sent to Waukesha County Highway Commission, Wisconsin
Department of Transporation, Waukesha County Board, State
Representative James Rutkowski and Senator James C. Devitt.
