AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATIONS FOR SALE OF CITY-OWNED LOTS
WHEREAS, the city has several lots for sale which have questionable
soils, and
WHEREAS, these soils require special footings and therefore
increase the cost of building in the area, and
WHEREAS, it is apparent that the $7500.00 price established by
the Council is high because of the nature of the soils, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the Mayor be authorized to negotiate the sale of the lots and then report
his recommendations to the Council,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego does hereby authorize Mayor Jerome Gottfried
to negotiate with those who have shown interest or may show
interest in those lots for a pr5ce most advantageous to the
city.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that he shall submit his recommendation to
the Common Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is also authorized to
negotiate for the sale of a parcel of land adjacent to the
Lufkin and Harding properties and also on Center Drive adjacent
to the John Lang property. n ..I
