REQUESTING THAT' ALL RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF
MUSKEG0 BE SERVED BY THE MUSKEGO POST OFFICE
WHEREAS, the present Post Office located in the City of Muskego
serves only a portion of the residents living in the city, and
WHEREAS, the balance of the citizens are served through the
.Hales Corners Post Office, and 1
WHEREAS, this situation creates problems relating to reasonable
mail service tothe residents of the community and is a serious
deterrent in our efforts to have the citizens in the city identify
themselves with Muskego, and
WHEREAS, it is apparent that the present post office facilities
are inadequate and will become even.more so as we continue to
grow and will therefore require a new facility, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council wishes to urge consideration be given
for building a facility large enough to serve all the residents
of the city,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego does hereby request the United States Postal Service to
begin planning for a new postal facility in the city of Muskego.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the United States Postal Service is
urged to make that facility large enough to serve all of the
residents living in the City of Muskego.
