DECLARING CITY OF MUSKEGO'S INTENT NOT TO PARTICIPATE
IN WAUKESHA COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM PLAN
WHEREAS, a representative group of citizens from Waukesha
County consisting of librarians, members of library boards,
etc. have for the past three years considered the feasibility
of developing a county-wide library system under which those
areas which presently do not have library facilities would have
them made available through the several communities that do
have library facilities, and
WHEREAS, the final report of their findings has been submitted
to the Waukesha County Board, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for both the city's library board and
the common council to make a recommendation regarding this
matter, and

WHEREAS, the Muskego Library Board has adopted a motion not
to participate in the county-wide system at this time,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby determine that it would not be in the
best interest for Muskego to become a part of the county-wide
library system.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego by the adoption of this resolution determines the city
will not particip.ate in the Waukesha County Library System Plan
at this time. 9 A
