CREATING POSITION FOR PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the city has applied for federal funds under the
CETA PROGRAM, and
WHEREAS, the city has received approval for a grant in the
amount of $6,000.00 to cover the cost of an additional
employee in the Public Works Department, and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the additional employee
would be primarily involved in the operation of the removal
of weeds from the city's lakes under the direction of
Superintendent Bertram, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Council to create the
position in order that we can advertise for applications,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cmon Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby create the following additional
position in the Public Works Department:
Weed harvester operator - $4.00 per hr.
