e ESTABLISHING POLICY REGARDING COMPENSATION To CITY
EMPLOYEES FOR INABILITY TO WORK DUE TU JOB
RELATED INJURIES
a WHEREAS, at the present time the city has no policy to cover
employees absent due to injury or illness caused during the
course of his duties other than that provided for by the
State's Workman's Compensation Law, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
employees not represented by a union be provided the same
coverage that is presently given to the members of the Muskego
Professional Pbliceman's Association,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby provide the following:
e Any employee who is absent due toinjury or illness
caused during the course of his duties shall suffer
no loss of compensation during such period of injury
or illness up to a maximum of one (1) year, provided
however, such employee shall endorse and turn over any
Workman's Compensation check which relate to the above
period to the city to be eligible for such payment.
