RESOLUTION APPROVING THE IMPROVEMENTS TO HOLZ
ISLAND BY TRE LITTLE MUSKEGO LAKE ASSOCIATION, INC.
t@ WHEREAS, the Little Muskego Lake Association, Inc. has asked
permission of the Common Council to plant crownwetch on the
eroding shoreline of Holz Island, and
t WHEREAS, the state and county naturalists have suggested that
this is one of the few ground covers that would adequately
prevent further erosion, and
I.
WHEREAS, the Little Muskego Lake Association, Inc. has requested
that the cost of this project be paid for out of the money
collected through paper drives,etc., and which is presently in a
lake reclamation account, and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that the total cost would not exceed
$400.00.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby authorize the Little Muskego Lake Association,
Inc. to take the necessary action which would protect the
shoreline around Holz Island from erosion.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council concurs that this
expense meets the requirements originally established for lake
rehabilitation projects to be paid for out of the recycling pro-
gram monitored by the Little Muskego Lake Association, Inc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Little Muskego Lake Association, Inc.
is authorized to expegd up to $,400.00 for this project.
